by admin on Nov.22, 2010, under Vacations

The Maldives is becoming one of the most popular destinations for luxury holidays! All kinds of people frequent the Maldives, and even celebrities take quite a fancy to this secluded and bright place for holiday locations! Does the Maldives really provide all that much, and is that why people want to go so badly? Without a doubt, this is one of the most stunning places to enjoy an in depth and lengthy spa treatment under the sun! Whenever you go on holiday anywhere, you should always do a bit of research into some of the areas you are travelling to, and the Maldives is no exception!

  • Firstly the Maldives as you may know is made up of a whole bunch of islands and islets. This is important to remember, firstly because they are very small. Also the Maldives consists of over one thousand of these islands! So bear that in mind before you think there is plenty to walk around!
  • Sorry but shopping isn’t going to be all that great! Sorry ladies, but if you are looking for anything that could slightly resemble a shopping mall, I am afraid you are out of luck! Even the capital of the Maldives, Male, hasn’t got any shops here for you to enjoy!
  • The Maldives is a Muslim Country! One of the most important aspects to remember when visiting any country is its religion! This country demands a little bit of respect, so just be polite and respect others around you!
  • The Marine life in the Maldives is the main attractor for divers and is one of the most popular places to see marine life underwater!

These are just some of the most important things to remember on Maldives holidays! The Maldives is a warm and sunny location to go on holiday, not to mention very clean as well! Other relaxing holidays include Caribbean holidays and Luxury holidays in general!

My Missed holiday in the Maldives lands me a holiday in Antigua

by admin on Jan.02, 2010, under Uncategorized

On my last holiday I travelled to Antigua. The general surroundings were brilliant. To be fair,l i actually didn’t want to come to Antigua, the Maldives was my first option. I fancied going Whale Shark diving, but the hotels I wanted to stay at were all booked up so I decided on my second choice – Antigua.

When I made it to Antigua though, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel that i arrived at, just made my day. It was phenomenally amazing. I was staying in the Hermitage Bay Hotel, a five star boutique hotel. I needed to find out where my room was, and to my surprise my room was fantastic. I had been Wind Surfing before so i had this booked into my schedule, as well as some snorkeling.

Basically the reason that i went on holiday on y own was because my Fiancee had gone on a holiday with a load of friends, and I needed inspiration for my Blog. Now I promised myself “no looking at other women”, but it’s very difficult when you’re staying at a place like this and you walk onto the beach!

I managed to resist though, I just stuck to the general sports activities. I tried to go Windsurfing as much as possible. The waves and the air were perfect; it was just strong enough to help get some good speed. I also indulged in some Spa Treatments as well, mainly the massages. Now that was good stuff, recommended to anyone who stays in the Caribbean.

Antigua actually turned out to be one of the best holiday destinations that i have ever visited. The people were very accommodating and the scenery was fantastic, I had a great flight as well.

So basically I think that this holiday has turned out better than I thought Maldives holidays would be like, I definately recommend Antigua holidays, and another place I found amazing was Egypt, Egypt holidays are truly stunning.

Holidays at Christmas can be tricky to arrange, so try one of these!

by admin on Nov.15, 2009, under Uncategorized

So are you looking where the best places for Christmas holidays are this year? Time is running out and you don’t have time to research locations. SO here are the top 3 places in the world that you could go to for your Christmas holiday this year:

Barbados. This is for the family, the Discovery Bay by Rex Resorts, a great Christmas holiday. Although this is a top quality luxury resort, the prices are not that expensive. There are some clear and peaceful beaches, with very clear waters. Bridgetown is the closest place to venture too from this hotel, and is not too mention the largest and most vibrant town in Barbados. Barbados is considered the party island of the Caribbean.

The Island that is St Lucia. This hotel offers some great accommodation, the Le Sport is known world wide for great service and treatments. Every room in the hotel has air conditioning so you can be kept cool all day, and non stop room service. So there will be no need to even leave your room. If your a golfing person then this a great holiday location for you, although saying that, there are other activities as well from, fencing to archery. All of these activities come with training as well. If you have a little more money to burn, you can head down to the Capital of St Lucia, Castries, to get some much wanted shopping done This is close to St Lucia.

The Maldives. Welcome to by far the priciest of all the locations the “Lily Beach Resort and Spa”. This hotel is considered by many to be a 6 star hotel, and looking at the accommodation you won’t be surprised. If you want somewhere to stay where you can get away from people and spend a week or two in the middle of nowhere, then this is as close to heaven that you are going to get. This particular Maldives island is quite small but has a small tropical rain forest at its centre, the Hotel is actually situated above the sea itself. Probably one of the most beautiful hotels in the world.

Maldives holidays, Dubai holidays and Sri Lanka holidays are well on the rise and this is thanks to the holidays on offer.
